As Program & Community Manager for SingularityU Portugal, you will be joining a fast paced, pro-active and agile team. Your mission will be to take lead in managing the global community of faculty, instructors and experts, support in designing  different training programs and events and building SingularityU Impact Programs for Community, Youth and Gender. You will have to work closely with your team members in a very flat hierarchy and be accountable for the delivery of all programs you are involved with.

Your main goals will be to deliver quality work on time, build and manage a great relationship with all our stakeholders and deliver unique experiences for the participants on SingularityU events. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise and manage SingularityU global faculty, experts and instructors;
  • Actively scan the global community of innovation and technology experts to onboard them into our portfolio of experts;
  • Design & organize the content for all SU programs to a very high standard;
  • Co-manage the network of partners, faculty, students and alumni in an inspirational and transformative way;
  • Support in account management and managing relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders - you will be the one translating client needs into actionable content and program structure; 
  • Lead the development and implementation of key social impact and community programs in schools, universities and other contexts.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • University graduate or equivalent professional qualification;
  • Mid-level project management experience;
  • Experience in working within an international organization in a multicultural context;
  • Outstanding & sophisticated communication skills, including high fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Experience in the technology or science industry, ideally as a practitioner. Ability to grasp complex topics within the wider theme of Exponential Technologies;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellence in hosting, internal and external partners, from all backgrounds, confidently and effectively, by using empathy and cultural awareness, ensuring thoughtfulness and diplomacy;
  • Instinctive team player: passion for team collaboration, ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people and able to create team working ethos;
  • Proficiency in bringing awe and joy to work;
  • High level of proactivity;
  • Detail oriented;
